How Long Will It Take? ? ?

When a patient first comes to us they will often have a lot of questions.  Whether they are new to chiropractic or not, it can be intimidating.  The initial consultation is filled with inquiries from both the doctor and the patient.

Towards the end of the exam and consultation, most patients will undoubtedly ask, “How long will it take for me to get better?”

The answer this question depends on several things:

Your Age. It is no secret – your body reacts to age. While there are exceptions, typically children and young adults will see quicker results.

Your Problem. It takes longer to address long-standing problems that have been neglects than acute injuries. Health problems that are more recent tend to resolve faster.

Your Discipline. Are you willing to form new health habits? If you are coachable and willing to follow the doctor’s suggestions, you will see better results. Chiropractic care is a partnership. What do you outside of the office has a direct affect on what happens inside the office.

Your Goal. Your intentions are just as important as ours. Our goal is to help our patients attain optimum health without surgery. We want to fix the problem, not just eliminate symptoms. Is that what you want? Or are you looking to maintain your health with wellness visits?

Your Attitude. It has been proven that those with a positive attitude heal faster. As your nervous system works better, anything is possible!
